We believe in encouraging our physicians and providers to continuously improve the quality of care our patients receive.
That is why in 2002 we implemented the Partners in Quality (PIQ) program, a proprietary care management program based upon certain quality metrics. The PIQ is a merit-based compensation program that promotes the following principles:
- Ensure quality of care
- Foster the relationship between patient and physician
Our philosophy is based on the premise that the most important "relationship" in health care is between the patient and his or her primary care physician. We don't just encourage and promote quality care and quality service, we reward our physicians for optimal outcomes, not simply for exams and procedures.
How do we measure quality?
Listening to you, the patient.
- Evaluating how care is delivered as reflected in your physician's medical records
- Ensuring you have access and availability to appropriate health services
- Verifying compliance to policies and procedures, national health guidelines and recognized health programs.
