Lucille
Soltesz, RN, MS, MBA, LRM, LNC Vice President, Clinical Affairs & Quality lsoltesz@metcare.com Mrs. Soltesz has 15 years of experience in the Florida Managed Health Care industry in all lines of business, Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid. She has been the lead person in preparations for multiple successful regulatory site visits and accreditation by NCQA. She is responsible for the credentialing of providers, quality of care and services, grievances and appeals for Metropolitan Health Networks, Inc. and METCARE Health Plans, Inc. Lucille began her care in health care as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital in Connecticut where she worked on a Pediatric Unit then moved to Surgical Unit, Critical Care and Emergency Unit. She received her MS from Southern Connecticut University and her MBA from Sacred Heart University also in Connecticut. Lucille is currently a Doctoral candidate working on her dissertation. These experiences allowed her to develop a high level of clinical expertise. While taking her Risk Management course, she and the two instructors developed a CD on Documentation in the Medical Record in Physician Office and has given several lectures to physician groups on this topic. Recently, she had the responsibility to successfully complete applications for licensure for the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) and for a contract with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) |

Grace Hodge, RN, BSN, MBA Senior Vice President, Medical Operations ghodge@metcare.com Grace Hodge has over 30 years of healthcare experience both in the clinical and administrative areas. Grace earned her BSN from the University of Central Florida and completed an MBA program at Nova Southeastern University. Additionally, she was awarded her doctorate of music degree from Stetson University School of Music. After service in the US Army, Grace returned home to Central Florida where she worked with area hospitals first in the role of RN and eventually in administration. She served as the director for a large Medicare HMO and assisted with the start up of a now nationally recognized hospitalist organization. Additionally, Grace has worked as a consultant for organizations across the country interested in restructuring and refocusing their teams from an environment of “good enough” to best in class! Grace brings extensive education and experience in time management, organizational change, and leadership development to Metcare. She has been instrumental in bringing Service Excellence to the forefront of the organization. |

Nancy L. Bachman, RN Senior Vice President Operations Coastal Market nbachman@metcare.com Nancy Bachman joined Metcare in 2007 as Senior Vice President of Health Services for AdvantageCare Medicare HMO. She has over 25 years of experience in health care delivery in the areas of clinical operations, business relationships and development, strategic growth, managed care, integrated delivery systems, care management and operational transitions. As SVP of Operations, Ms. Bachman currently oversees all operations for our Coastal Business Unit. Formerly, she was the VP of Clinical Operations for Coordinated Care Solutions, Inc., where she made numerous substantial contributions as one of the founders of this national integrated care management company serving elderly, high-risk and chronically ill populations across the acute/post acute and long-term care continuum. Nancy has been a guest speaker at numerous industry conferences focusing on managed Medicare and Medicaid programs and the post-acute continuum of services. Nancy graduated from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and attended the Universities of Pennsylvania and Maryland. She currently resides in South Florida. |

Mark T. Sprangers, MD Medical Director Metcare Central Florida Market msprangers@metcare.com Dr. Sprangers has over 30 years experience as a licensed physician. He was board-certified in Family Medicine in 1978 and also trained in Occupational Medicine. He did his undergraduate degree work at St. Mary's College in Winona, MN and received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. After working in Family Medicine and then the Department Occupational Medicine (where he was the Medical Director) at the Fairview Red Wing Medical Center for 27 years he moved to sunny Florida. He was on the Board of Directors and the Fairview Finance Committee, and Chaired the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at the Hospital. He was a member of the Investments Committee which oversaw the growth of the invested retirement funds from 5 to 36 million dollars. In 2005 he joined Metcare to be the company's medical liaison for the Volusia and Flagler Counties centers as well as ACHA physician of record for the Metcare wholly-owned centers, where he has been successful in the ACHA audits of those centers. He has been involved with program development and an expanding patient and provider base to the point where there are over 40 contracted centers. |

Barry Stone MD Senior Vice President, Medical Operations bstone@metcare.com Dr. Stone joined the staff at Metcare as Associate Medical Director for the South and Coastal Florida regions in June 2008. He has previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Florida Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale where he was a leader in development and implementation of Utilization Review, Peer Review and Performance Improvement processes. He served as the Chief Medical Officer for MDVIP, a ‘concierge physician’ medical company recruiting outstanding and talented physicians contracting with the company. Dr. Stone came to South Florida in 1981 after completing his medical degree at SUNY-Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1984. He remained at UM/JMH through June 1986, where he trained for his fellowship in Gastroenterology. He remained on the teaching staff at UM/JMH, providing instruction to the GI fellowship program in the area of advanced biliary endoscopic techniques, while developing his private GI practice in Boca Raton. Dr. Stone and his family reside in Boca Raton. |
